You and creeps are holding your team back, your not going to kill anything. So to be relevant you and creeps are going to have to kill 2 each. Which I know won't happen.
seeing as it's going to be in the 80s and sunny this weekend in my area of WI, I'll be skipping Opening weekend up there and going to MI to see if I can find any oaks that are dropping or loaded and hang a stand or two. Give me the weekend to get my camper cleaned out, gear sorted and ready for October 1...
@Tony for some reason, I can't get your avatar shrunk down below the 50kb max...closest I can get is 54.

Great news guys. I am on my way to pick up some red tags from a farmer. They are good for the rest of this month so I can start hunting now. I can only shoot a doe but that's fine with me. Great to be able to get a head start.
I wish. I managed to get 2. One for me and one for Chase. Hoping if we kill one they will give us more. This is a great opportunity to get Chase up to speed and get some practice before season.
Waiting for confirmation from my buddy (landowner) but looks like my season starts this weekend. Moon and temps are favorable for a WI doe to hit the ground. Slightly more negative news; after scouting last weekend it's safe to say my area in MI is set to be a complete acorn crop bust for at least the 3rd season in a row. Woods have been a ghost town every year it's like that. I know the rut is the rut but I have very little October confidence there now.
Cold front moving in so I will be finally getting out here in Wi tomorrow. 40 degrees tomorrow night.
This is my best buck on cam… I will take him if given the opportunity but I wish there were bigger ones …. Maybe a big boy will sneak on my place during the rut… come on October 1st! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I will also be out here in WI Thursday night and Friday morning. The wife and I are taking a long weekend out in south western WI and I get to sneak out to hunt for a bit. It will just be good to get out.
I will be in a WI tree Saturday AM...wish I could get out tomorrow and Friday but Work. Rarely does work intrude on good hunting weather but then again I save all my leave for last week of October through mid-November. I will be on leave for 4 straight weeks this year, Oct 18 - Nov 20. That first week will be toes in the sand and drinks with little hats, but the rest of the time will be in the woods.
Saturday is my opening day. Assuming Allison isn't in labor, I'll be hunting at mom and dad's farm. I did get a real good buck on cam down in the national forest, but will be unable to hunt down there until November.
