I rough measured it once at 98 and change, but something doesn't seem right so I told the processor/taxi to measure it for me when they do the Euro. That should happen next week.

He's got more mass and spread than my 2018 buck which went 116. The broken tine will cost him about 6".

I don't think the app I was using was accounting for the fractions correctly. When I did the math manually this is what I got. Look right?

Yes, looks correct to me. You should post your Bucks score on the score card.

alright guys, we are only 5 100" bucks or 10 does from the lead. That's a lot, but is not insurmountable. It's still only mid-November.
The lead teams have just killed some incredible bucks. There's 3-4 teams that have 4 or more average 125+ on the board, which is just incredible.

    SHOOT DOES !!!

I can hunt until January 15th, and I plan on taking advantage of the entire season. I won't put up a zero.

I would like to get everyone's thoughts on my set up this weekend, in a general sense, obviously wind conditions being a huge factor.

Saturday morning there will be a 10 degree temp drop into the 30's. For my area, this weekend should have some 2nd rut activity, based on historically what I've seen the past few years. I'll be in the hills/mountain terrain, wind swirls fairly regularly. I have 2 spots that I think offer me the best chances of seeing bucks. One is a bench/pinch point, heavy used travel corridor, lots of camera activity year round. It's near a road, but deer have to cruise through here given the terrain. Typically bucks are nocturnal near this spot, but some rut action could change that. The other is near bedding, an elevated fairly flat area surrounded by steep decline hills, where I have caught bucks coming through mid morning. This spot is more remote, about an hour hike if I take my time. It doesn't see as many does compared to the other. Both areas usually have limited pressure, meaning I rarely see other hunters near them.

I'll have about 3 1/2 days to hunt, so I could always hunt both based on wind at that time.

I would be where you expect does to bed.

Been a pleasure conversing with you fellas this season. Got skunked with a bow, but my son shot 2 does during gun season. We had at least 1 confirmed poaching on the private that we hunt. And our go to public area got hit hard during gun. Good deer on camera, and I think a few solid bucks made it. Time to start planning for next year.
