Nothing sighted today but pouring rain. My buddy Justin helped me in and out of blind and even brushed blind in more for me and made a mock scrape. I thought for sure I would see something.

Hi Guys, I guess I talk to a lot too but I am 53. I agree with Bob and love the camaraderie amongst us. I go to the doctors this morning at 8 am. I hope he takes the screw out this morning and sends me to rehab. I am chopping at the bit to climb into a tree or climb up. I have a stand in a nice white oak patch 27 feet up just calling me. I am including a pic of a guy who's friends with my buddy Justin (another Hoyt Brother), who harvested on opening day. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1349260093.631112.jpg

I may try it again tonight in blind. With all the rain it should be fresh.

Wow Jim that's a nice Buck! Good luck at the doctors. I know what you mean about being in your tree stand, I love being in my climber. I still have 12 days to wait.

Wow that's a nice buck there Jim. Whoohoo, I'm done with my on-line course so that'll open up a few nights of hunting later in the week, but there is rumors of temps rising back in the 60's next week. So hopn to hit it next week sometime. Bob it'll be here before you know it, but easy for me to say. I'll have to admit when I was at Farm & Fleet I got a little excited lookin around all the huntin stuff and people milling around all the huntin stuff.

I did manage to get out in popup blind for 5 hours till dark and have yet to see a deer. I did see some fresh droppings so they are there, but they are in the acorns and I can't get there right now with leg.

Hi everyone, I found out who the guy was that shot the huge buck picture I posted. It turns out he played baseball for me years ago. Kevin Beduhn is his name and his buck dressed out at 240 lbs.
