My shooting needs more perfect practice starting pretty soon. I did ok but not like what I am use too. Already working on that plus stand placements for next year. Food plots are on the agenda as well.
I am already waiting for next season. I still have a few weeks left here and hope to fill last antler less tag.
I will make a good attempt to climb into stand early afternoon today. Temp will be 19 degrees which will be top temp for the day.
With wind it was zero here and I sat for four hours. I did bumped a bedded doe on way in and she crossed right in front of me. No shot due to Hoyt shouldered in my primos bow sling. That was only thing that moved. I did practice filming geese. Rain predicted for my next days off for Monday evening and Tuesday evening. Ohio's last weekend ends on Sunday, February 3. That will be my last push and then pull stands after that.
It is about 55 degrees here and rain, so I pulled two sets. In and out plus marked trees for next season.
I hope to get out for last morning oh Ohio's now season. I think ground blind and heater are in order for morning.
I pulled last two hang on stands yesterday while weather was 41 degrees and sunny. Took deer hauler off my vehicle and stored everything away. Time to take my Hoyt in for new strings and cables. I bought a new millennium hang on and seat is huge along with platform.
