In Kansas you only get one buck tag, so hopefully I get a crack at him or this other nice one next year.

I did Manage to get out Tuesday evening. I hung a stand in a pine tree only 10 foot up. I saw about 30 Turkish trying to settle in for the evening. Not a deer in site but it was snowing so hard it took me an hour to go 8 miles. I may get out in AM after the blizzard goes through.

I didn't see anything but a squirrel. It was great being there though, I love it! With any luck I'll be out in the morning for a few hours.;)

Went out this morning in my stand from 5:30 to 9 AM and saw three squirrels. Got down out of my stand and started to pack up my stuff and a nice fat doe ran by about 30 yards or so from me. Could only watch. LOL

LOL! isn't that the way it always goes?! well good luck Bob if you're still going out. I have till next Sat, problem is that gun is open now. Snow on the ground helps see where they're traveling. I will be out a few days next week. I can't believe it's coming to a close soon. Man that was too short.

TJ you have a great season and sounds like you almost had a shot Bob. I have until first week in February here so I hope to get out tomorrow. I did make it to Canfield Ohio with my old college buddy Jeff Stewart. It was a battle to fight blizzard conditions but got there to help put decoys out. We have a three goose limit and 4-6 duck limit. We called in around 500 geese and three mallards. We got 2 out 3 ducks and 12 geese. I haven't done that for over 20 years with my buddy Jeff. Thanks man, we had 4 shooters and after we had limits the geese came in and landed almost on us. Something different to do and enjoy with friends.
