Well I can check my arrow but I got both lungs and the artery at the top of the heart. Sent from my LG-P925 using Tapatalk 2
To hit solid through bone says a lot about the shooter and Broadhead. Great shot placement. Congrats again man. I get the screw out of my leg in morning then straight for breakfast then to a tree with my summit.
Thanks guys! It didn't hit the shoulderblade the shoulderblade is farther forward. Sent from my LG-P925 using Tapatalk 2
I found out my surgery time has been moved to noon, so I may not have much time to get out. I will take it easy Bob. Congrats on your buck again. I wonder how our team is placed in standings?
Great job guys!!! Sorry haven't been on in a bit. Have been super busy with work, no rest for the wicked, or hunting in my case. Good luck with your op and out in the woods Jim!
I made pickled deer heart today for the first time. I'll let you know how it is this weekend! Sent from my LG-P925 using Tapatalk 2
Between the four kids, the cub scout committee meetings, parent teacher meetings, house projects, work, & the wife's work, I havn't gotten out in a while. But I get to get out with my bow tomorrow afternoon. Wish me luck.
Best of luck Kramer! I tried my pickled deer heart and I think it's awesome! Sent from my LG-P925 using Tapatalk 2
I couldn't get out after having the screw removed from my leg due to time. I did in fact get out yesterday morning and set up in my summit in a creek bottom. The creek bottom I saw from my map is that it ran to the east to cut corn and acorn flat to the west. The crack of light I went to mount canon on my camera arm and realized the top in fell off. Great! Murphy's law kicked in with a young buck chasing a doe 50 yards out. HD chased her into clear cut and I heard sticks breaking. Out of the corner of my eye I see a bright object so I threw up my binos. To my surprise it was a piebald doe with another young buck in tow. Both of them came into 25 yards so I passed. Had 4 doe come in around 10 am and a big doe bedded at 46 yards quartering away. I had to leg the Hoyt shoot. I rolled a bit left and missed. I was down by noon to slowly look for camera arm top and to rest leg. My slow walk revealed about 20 deer up the trail till I got back to the vehicle. Laying next to the vehicle was the camera arm top. Doctor told me to be careful with leg so that the whole in leg heals.
I haven't had chance to rough score him but he is hanging in back yard. I can't post pics until I submit pics with info. I will do that before I process him tomorrow afternoon. The buck was 34 yards away from stand that was 20 feet up. Thanks all for the congrats, it has been tough with leg in all.
