Man, I am getting a bit worried about my blind spot. I haven't seen an animal yet. Could be that they are bedding near acorns or staying corn. Gosh, I have a fair number of hours in. Pretty chilly here this morning so I will be on couch today then go practice with bow later when it warms up.

I need a change of scenery but can't untill I start rehab on Monday. I will be able to drive then and then I can get to my other spots. Chomping at the bit.

I'd go poke around there and see if there is any fresh sign. Can you put up a trail cam nearby, that'll tell you what's cruisin thru. last yr I was gonna move my stand cuz I didn't see anything for weeks; low and behold a bunch of does, and various bucks on film right under my stand. One was a real nice 10ptr I saw once, and came by my stand 3x, mid-morning. You never know what's really there and what isn't. good luck out there anyway.

I'm planning on going out this Fri afternoon. Finally have most everything squared away; clothes washed & hangin outside, backpack filled up, tags done so just gotta hit the woods.

Will do. I am seeing fresh tracks and droppings so I know they are around. I usually rotate spots so I don't booger the area up. I am just getting a bit frustrated due to being a little limited on what I can do.

You can only do so much Jim, you don't want to push it and make it worse. One of my spots I'm getting all my pictures from midnight to 4 AM. maybe the same is happening in your spot. I'm sure something will break soon! Good luck!

Yeah Bob your right man. I wish I could ask the farmer to pick his corn now. I will be getting my HD cannon camera from Cambells outdoors today. Will load memory card and charge it and hope to get out tonight and start laying footage down along with I phone and Kodak. I took the time yesterday and shoot sitting and standing a bit at 20 and thirty yards. I stacked arrows.

Every deer I kill! Makes things much easier IMO. Shove it in, twist, pull, tie off and cut. Done.

Cool! That's one area I take a lot of time in. So when I saw this and watched a couple videos on it I went and bought one. I can't believe I paid $13 for a piece of plastic, however if it works, I guess it's worth it. I'm all for quick and easy.

Hi Bob. I have used the butt out on many deer and you have to be careful not to twist to severe or you can rip the lining.

I hunted steady Eddie last night till dark and nothing again. Oh we'll, I wanted to try out my new cannon hf300 camcorder. I recorded light usage all the way till dark and it picks up really well. Cambells outdoors went over the camera with me on the phone and was duper helpful. It has a tap screen device that locks the subject on screen and even when it moves it will keep image in focus. Very cool. I will start descenting all hunting stuff now that I can get down stairs and do laundry.
