Thanks! It was a lot of fun! My buddy got down early because it was slow on his side of the farm and walked through a crp field behind me. Well I got down to go meet up with him and then saw a deer in the field headed his way. He saw it at the same time and ducked in the grass. She fed his way and started to look at him. I was about a hundred yards from the deer and he was about 30. I made some noise to get her to look at me and not him. She turned broadside to stomp at me and check me out. He shot her and spined her. We had to finish her off but it was cool to shoot deer on the same night. Last year we both shot our only deer of the year the same morning so hopefully we havent jinxed each other. lol.

Nothing yesterday night. Sat in the tree for a few hours & didn't see anything. Was planning to go back today but the weather didn't corporate. Had a young buck come withing a few feet of my dad and I tonight, he almost walked right over my legs.......he was around us for a good 5 minutes and never spooked.
Weather looks great this weekend! Highs in the 40's and lows in the low 30's! Saw a small buck running across the highway with his nose on the ground yesterday while I was was working. Its warming up here in Iowa!
