I've only been able to go out about 4 times this year so far, harvest will be over soon so I'll be in the woods soon!
Missed a doe last night at 40 yds. I was spot and stalking in a big field and she was getting on edge. Right when I shot she turned and ran. I saw my arrow fly by her. I didnt think she was that spooked but lesson learned and 1 arrow less. I am glad it was a clean miss and that I didnt hit her when she turned.

Back out in our ground blind. Have a 20+mile an hour winds blowing S SW which is pretty good for our set up. Hopefully the deer we spooked out at 5am come back! Im ready for them! Wish me luck! Sent from my DROID3 using Tapatalk 2

All I've been seeing is dinks and does. Haven't gotten a shot at a doe yet. I find it harder and harder to make 4 hour round trips every week for a few hours of hunting.
has been slow the past 2 weeks....things are picking up now...had one of my target bucks at 40 yds last night but he knew I was there before I knew he was otherwise it could have possibly been game over! going back in after him tonight and the next as the weather is allowing for great movement!

Been slow for me too. Heard some by us before sun came out but they got spooked & never came back, we were out am&pm that day. That was our 1st day with any sign of deer. So,your already better off then me good luck! Sent from my DROID3 using Tapatalk 2
Well I finally scored this evening! Shot a small doe at 6 pm. It was weird because 3 does came running in like they were spooked. One almost hit my ladder, then ran back to where they came from. Then ran in again and left to where they came from and then came back in and she gave me a 10 yard shot. Hit her perfectly through the heart and she ran 40 yards and dropped dead! Great feeling after missing the other one the other night.
