    Been hunting in Both MN and WI the past 12 days or so and have had 4 great encounters with 4.5 year old + bucks which is making it a very active year for me already!...The full moon has activity at a minimum at the moment but hopefully that will all change end of next week and it will be game on once again and hopefully get some big points on the board! In the mean time I plan to get a doe for the freezer:moose:

    Opening day in wv.. Just got settled into my blind. I got a perfect NNW wind. It's not the property I wanted to hunt on this evening. I need south winds for my other farms for evening hunts. Wish me luck!!!

    Tomorrow is opening day here in Illinois. I have decided for my 1st hunt to hunt from a ground blind (hopefully noone stole it) Im still a little shaky from a tree stand so id rather be on the ground & be able to fully concentrate & not be nervous! Jfergus7 & I will be out together! Good luck & safe hunting everyone! Let's get some more points for team 37!

    Good luck Kristine! I work tomorrow morning till I finish servicing all my gas stations. I normally get off at about 5 pm but I have a good feeling that I will get off much earlier tomorrow and I will be really tired but I need to get in the woods!

    Nothing! There were a few hunters but not on our side. We didn't see anything, think I heard one but no luck today :-(

    I went out on some public land to do some spot and stalking. Great time and saw a ton of deer. I got within 100 yards of a bunch of does and about 150 yards from a 130 inch 10 point and another buck that was tough to see that looked a lot bigger body wise and his antlers looked huge. It was getting dark but I would say he was pushing 150. It was a blast and cant wait to get out again soon!

    Looks like its going to hit a high of 85! Wednesday. Going to hunt on my 1 farm with a nice water hole on it should produce some action.
