Here we go fellas, add another stud to the new swamp property list. While we only got one picture of him we knew of his existence per the farmer and we just hoping for a picture of him. Just wish the picture was from a better angle.

He is a solid one, could use another picture to know just how solid. I believe he'll score better than RD (the other big boy we got tons of picture of) but RD is a gorgeous 8 pointer, where as this guy appears to be a 5x5 or 6x5 with possible junk on bases. Either way I just pray I get a chance to take either or another good one.

Nope I'm all the way on the Northern most part of Indiana. Actually the property that RD and that buck are at is located pretty much on the state line with Michigan.

I know the Patoka Lake area, great area for hunting and fishing!

Tyni if you use your imagination that buck looks like he could have split brows. Hope you get to find out first hand.

Otto, any updates on your trip to WI. Did you at least pick up some cheese and/or beer?

Well guys after analyzing the pic I do believe he's got split brows and is a basic 5x5 otherwise. We'll coin him "Splits" in hopes our feelings of his brow's being split is correct. HOpefully my father or I will find out!

here's is a terrible outline done with a shaky mouse hand highlighting what I think is his points:

No kidding Outback, seeing some of the kills on the scoreboard already I feel like a race horse on the starting block.

On the other hand, I was feeling kinda tired driving home yesterday after 3rd shift until I spotted "Spud" in my hay field pulling into my driveway. I haven't gotten many pics of him this year, several the last couple years but he's still roaming around. Since this pic on July 7th he has grown a split on his right G2 and has a sticker on his left G3, along with a few more inches of tine length. Needless to say the last week before the season just got longer.

I would be a little more anxious if I was hunting him too.

pm sent out to our replacement...another MI fella so WI, IL, IN and MI area seems to be our main area as a team with some other great spots repped as well!

Those of you who are already blessed with the start of the season..got anything new for us?

Nothing new here...nothing worth sharing on today's camera pulls, just a bunch of 1 or 2 year old bucks and none were over 70 inches or so. (not what I'm after)

Hey what's up guys ... glad to be on your team!!!

little bout me: my name is Jared Van Hees and I am 25, and a newb when it comes to this competion. I have been bowhunting for almost a decade now, and have the obsession. I'm from Grand Haven, but now reside in southeast Michigan and hunt down here and up in Mount Pleasant, MI where I went to school. I plan on killing a doe early if things go right :/...and a mature buck this season at least....i am running out of ven.

I killed my largest buck last year on Halloween at 24 yrds. We have gotten some nice bucks on camera in MP, and some decent bucks down here. Below are some pics of this years candidates.
