GREAT work M3!!!!! nice buck! great beams.

well it looks like I will be away from home for a while. last year I spent 8 weeks on the coast of British Columbia flyfishing some world class Steelhead on Vancouver Island and fishing for Chinook salmon in the ocean and fishing big Rainbow and Cutthroat trout in the lakes on the mainland.

I stay on my friends farm, I help him with the farm and pass on farming knowledge and I stay there for free.....he also just happens to be a professional fishing guide. this guy is literally a fishing ninja! his farm has a Steelhead stream running right through it and is a few yards from the ocean. so I can fish Steelhead every day. you can drink your coffee on the deck and listen to sea lions every morning.

he invited me back out there so I will be coastal for about 5 weeks(I have to come back because I am getting my range Officer course).

I will be missing a good part of my rifle season but will be back with a good month of season left. For a prarie boy these trips and the places I go are the things dreams are made of and as close to heaven as you can get without a set of tits! So I hope you guys understand. I still may be able to tag a doe when I get back.

for all the gun nuts, I am picking up my new sako trg 42 338 Lapua magum while I am in Vancouver.

I was guessing 130s M3. Awesome deer man. I assume he is going to the taxi.

Sask buddy, the only thing I hold against for takin that trip is not inviting me. Good with the fishing buddy.

Another night of nothing till after legal time...dad had 3 bucks chasing does all evening again at homestead...beginning to think I need to just switch and go there as that's where the deer seem to be running and give the swamp property a break...tough to do since the swamp prop is where we've gotten all the big buck pictures and homestead really just one shooter maybe....we'll see where I end up tomorrow morning as right now I got no clue.

Congrats Otto, Took my 13 year old grandson with me tonite and watched him shoot his first deer ever with a bow, it was a fork horn but he was tickled to death, it ran about 60 yards after he shot. He was about 80 yards from where I was sitting, it was cool to watch it all take place. I took 2 pictures of the buck just before he shot it as it walked across the field to him. Was better than shooting one myself. Congrats again to All who have scored, am still trying to get my first one this year.

Congrats to all the team contributers. Thus far it has been a frusterating season for myself. Most of the time I try and narrow my sits to 2 or 3 stand sites. I have four cameras on 4 different properties and there are mutiple bigs bucks on each property. This has never happened in all the 25 years I have been hunting. So far I have been a day behind on my sits. Here are 4 of the 9 shooters I have pictures of.

Well this slickhead was too smart, heading back and forth between my buddy and I picking us both out. After passing on a young 8, I got anxious, and she needed to die.

Well guys camera pull yesterday showed on Thursday evening I hunted wrong stand. RD waltz by one stand at about an hour till legal time was over! I was 140 yards away in another set...again so close but so far away. Nothing yesterday and nothing today so far...huting one buck is exhausting but spoils of it will be worth it if it pays off.

Otto you did get pictures with it and you and bow right?

Keep hunting fellas and be safe!
