season is here!!!!! im pumped ready to go... i will be out after school all week. hopefully putting a buck down on opening day. let go hunting boys!!!!
Well priorities in life are in fact gonna take me away on and off this first week. I'll be out when I can but do some hunting for me fellas. I'll be hunting hard once I can start but just not this first couple days. Put some deer down to give me some stuff to look at fellas on the phone while I'm on the go!
2 weeks from tomorrow till opening day for me. I am so tired of shooting at a target. Im ready to put an arrow into something with legs! The military reservation i have hunted the last few years does open tomorrow for scouting though, so atleast i can get into the woods this week. I know the place really well, but i always like to go find which acorn trees the deer are hitting hard. Good luck to everybody.

Unfortunately can't make it out till Thursday evening at the earliest....keep the field updates coming though...helps make my work day seem well "better". Even though I couldn't hunt this morning I can't explain the feeling I had just knowing it's that time of year again.
Well saw a bunch(15 plus) of antlerless deer this morn. Got some footage. Only one came into bow range but this isnt a doe property til december . see what happens tonight, keep ya posted. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
Went out this morning in Kentucky...saw one button buck early, then a doe about 40 yards off in the brush, then at 10:15 had a 1 1/2 old 8 point come in.....passed him up at the long distance of 7 yards....got gorgeous footage and some great pictures...this deer has some tremendous genetics I think...I hope he scares me in 3 years!!!....now back in Indiana for PM hunt...

He does look like a solid 1.5 year old in my opinion...maaybe a 2.5 but the part that stinks is those bucks are just a year or two shy of exploding yet are the primary age bracket of bucks shot due to stupidity. :D Oh well, leaves the bigguns for the patient ones.
