Just so everyone anxiously awaiting to see pics...Sask has still been quiet and I haven't heard anything from him yet. We'll see what happens, as I'm sure Sask has his reasons for being quiet today.
It would be difficult to grill backstraps, drink the beverage of your choice, re-tell the story to your friends, and post stuff on the net all at the same time.
X2! Whose next on the board? I have to wait til next weekend for an early antlerless firearm weekend with my bow. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
I'll be up in the tree roughly 32 hrs from now. I've had several does and small bucks coming through nearly every day since I've had the cameras out. The big boys always seem to be more intermittent. Its going to depend on my mood whether I shoot a doe or not. I'll probably wait for a bit, but you may as well put an unofficial 50 pts on the board for me.
Here ya go. he was about number 4 on my list but mule deer archery is only four weeks here ad whitetail I have until January so I only had two weeks left. I have a 1000 acres of flax ready any day and when it is ready to combine free time to hunt would be nill so I settled on this guy. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Question, is the tine at the top of g2 on the right of the picture considered g3? and would the point on g1 on the right be an abnormal point or is it a fork, it is about 1.5 inches long would that be classed as non typical?
Congrats again Sask. Very nice man. Let me first say that I have never even seen a mule deer in person or even scored one. In my opinion the point coming off of the back would be the g2 and the one in the front would be the g3. So the way I see it the G2 would be 20 inches or so and the g3 would be a couple inches. Based on this from the boone and crockett scoring. I would probably score that point on the brow as an abnormal point, and I would say yes, it is non typical.
Definitely Gross score. Don't take any deductions off of that dude Sask. Measure points, measure the circumference, add it up and post that dude up.
Fitz has been informed and will either post here or pm me his decision about whether it will count. Either way heck of a way to start Sask!!! Well done!
Nice Buck Sask! If you can post up two photos of you, the head ,and you bow and also the first photo showing the bow & buck, you'll be good to go! Big congrats buddy!
Well Sask there we go, if you got another picture of you/gear/head then post them along with the two infield ones in scorecard and your good.
Hey guys just a heads up, I'm gonna back up all harvest photos just on the outside chance something would happen on any of your ends or what not. So I've started a album on my photobucket just for this teams 2012 harvests. Got Sask's up there already. LINK
