You wouldn't like my current set up. My total arrow weight is 462 grains moving at around 265-270 fps out of my 70# Heli m at 29". You would have HATED my last set up. It was a 530 grain arrow moving at 250 fps out of my 70# Drenalin. It had a trajectory that looked like the St. Louis Arch, but it would blast through anything. I could hunt cape buffalo with that set up, and you talk about Q U I E T on the shot. It's amazing what a heavy arrow does to the sound of the shot.

Hey, as long as they both kill deer, right? :tu:

Shoot nothing wrong with those set ups. I just figure if I can do it, comfortably and correctly, then Im going to while Im young and able. Thats why I switched to 80lb draw in the first place and one of the fastest bows Mathews has. I love this set up forsure. Last year I was all wrong. Was shooting 390g arrows at about 265 fps and they kicked bad coming off the rest so lost a lot of energy from that. 2 lost deer later (one should have been recoved, long story), I decided to max out on energy and always use fixed blades so I almost always get pass throughs and good blood to follow.

Yes and the bow shoots good. I was scared going to a 6'' brace height but Im so glad I did. Its a really heavy bow which I dont love but its still lighter then some of my old bows.

Nothing wrong with that at all! I would like to pick up a used z7x or heli-m for next year, set it at around 60lbs and 27" for winter hunting. But well see if money allows. It didnt allow this season like I had hoped lol.

Well, it would probably be a good idea to wait until we have inputs from a few others.

I did have an off the wall idea, but I don't want to post it here. I'll PM you two and see what you think. It's not really a name as much as just using the number with a catch phrase.
