If it had gone well you'd have known about it quickly. I didn't see a thing. Not even a squirrel. This sit was on my property and even my cats, which I normally see every sit, were no-shows. My "Hunt Calendar" app on my iPhone even said it was going to be a sucky day. Come on Friday! Aaron and I will be in Chickasaw State Forest camping in my new camper this weekend. We're both leaving work mid-day and we'll give it our best shot.
Darn...well Im glad we got better days comin! My clock pretty much stopped moving today, so Idk how Im gonna make it to Saturday. But I guess it will come when it feels like it!
Hey Johnny I asked Aaron but Ill ask you also, have any hogs down around where you hunt? Been hopin to do a spring or early summer hog hunt and figured Id ask you guys before I go off giving my money to an outfitter. Id take care of you if you could put me on some hogs. Just didnt know if you were in a part of the state with a fair amount of them.
I know how you feel, but for some reason the fever hasn't hit me as hard this year. I'm positive that in a couple of weeks it will kick in with full force. The early season down here just isn't that great, but I take comfort in knowing that I'll be in Ohio the first week of November. That is so freakin' awesome!

Looks like the only person who shot a good buck from "your" team last year is on this team this year! How was the back straps on your buck tag last year by the way? Did you pan fry them or wrap em in bacon? Did you share the recipe with your brotherhood? They're gonna need it I'm sure with you leading them!
