    saturday. that's really the only day i have, the place i hunt is an hour and a half away one way. man i know you are stoked for saturday. get out there and punch a hole in something brother. johnny and i are going to be out at the same place this saturday. i can get some pointers from him about stand hunting and maybe get him to help me with my setups.

    that one deer from last year is getting thin. we had decent weather this past yesterday. not too warm breeze out of north northwest. wasn't cool either, but tolerable. maybe it will cool down this weekend.

    Yeah im sure that monster buck also gave you twice as much meat as my lil doe did lol. But its gonna be different this year, Im ready to eat!

    amen! being a meat hunter, i will take every slickhead i can get. would like another wall hanger though.

    Yeah I need to do better with doe this year. My goal is 120 lbs of meat. I figure on a low end that's 2 doe and a buck.

    if they don't cooperate my old addage will be put to use. (if it's brown it's down!) i try to be somewhat selective. key word : try.

    that's true. but they get too uncooperative i'll breakout my rifle and touch them.

    Yeah buddy venison tastes the same with a rifle thats forsure! I personally dont do much gun huntin but did buy a flintlock to try out and depending on how many tags I have I do have the .270 if I need her.

    oh yeah! i have my .50 cal and my 7mm- 08. but really want to use my bow alot this year.

    Just got on the stand for a quick 2 hour sit. I really don't want to kill anything as much as I want to see what's moving through here and when.
