He wasn't big enough to be legal so I just retrieved my arrow (using a saw) and left the tree in the woods. I know it was unethical of me, but sometimes you've got to do what you've got to do.

i need to kill a deer. these last few days are going to freaking kill me. i was ok at around 30-35 days, but now my own head.
Man I'm getting stoked. I've got the camper set up and I'm buying a few odds and ends here and there. Only 8 more days before I head out to Missouri for the season kick-off for me. This will be the maiden voyage for my Jayco 1206 camper. I'm really looking forward to sleeping in something besides an air mattress in a tent. That was cool when I was younger, but the older I get the more I would appreciate some creature comforts. I still need to strip the Rayzr feathers and wraps off of 10 arrows, re-fletch with wraps and blazers and add a 50 grain weight to them. After that I'll test shoot all my arrows and pick 5 hunting arrows to fill my quiver and start loading everything into the camper. This is a great time of year, isn't it?
haha I know what you mean brother! Im losing my mind. Cant wait to head out on vacation. A little over a week at my favorite place with my girl, catching a ton of fish, enjoying the beauty of the mountains, taking walks, seeing some long time friends. Its going to help time move a bit for me. Then when I get home I have 13 days. Still a long time, itll be closer at least!
