Ummm, are you sure about that, Tony? Check the roster for team 24. You know, the team that's currently in the lead? :whip:

Awesome deer guys. I'm back up in the tree again on the property where I shot the doe. The deer activity seems to be dead where I usually sit so now I'm trying a different spot. I haven't been able to deer hunt much. The days I planned to either had poor weather or I wound up hunting sea ducks or pheasant. I'm planning to really bear down the next few weeks.

Hey Guys! Congrats Rob and PT! Way to get it done! As for myself I have missed three does and have only seen a button buck. I keep shooting way far to the left. I get down and shoot at a target and boom bullseye! I think im getting over excited or something, worse part is the longer I go in the season without a deer the worse I seem to be!! I have just about zero confidence in my shot right now and no time to shoot my bow. I know if I could shoot a hundred arrows or so I'd feel more comfortable in the moment. I think I am white knuckling the bow when I release. I think tomorrow after work since itll be to dark to hunt I can maybe shoot off some arrows in the yard.

Had a good encounter with the buck I shot at on opening day. This is the first time I've seen deer in daylight in over 10 sits. He was with 2 smaller bucks. Is this unusual for the time of year? He squared off briefly with one of them but they continued to travel together. Anyone have any insight? It's the first time I've seen bucks together outside of their summer patterns.

I have seen them together....they seem to keep a distance now tho ... if a hot doe showed up, it would get ugly I am sure. It is not uncommon during the seeking phase for bucks to be seen in the same area, going the same way ...they are all of single mind ;)

Sorry Tony! First Bowhunting Season with a baby. How'd you do? I took three shots at three deer and missed them all! Worst season ive had yet, but ive been blessed in other areas which are more important.
