Ya I would shoot one in velvet given the chance. Its just weird seeing that around here this time of the year.

As for your sleeping suggestion, I don't have a wife and no girlfriend at the time. I don't even try during bow hunting season. They never last and I don't have time for the games. It sucks being single though. The only thing I can do anymore is Whatever the hell I wanna do whenever the Hell I wanna do it!! LOLOL

 

This weekend I am heading down to my in-laws place in Indiana to check cams and set up a new ground blind so for once I will actually be busy. Hopefully I have some good pics! It is going to be a pretty exciting weekend with the season right around the corner the anticipation grows everyday.

Jordan random question but, Did you wreslte for Robinson Highschool? I feel like I know your last name from seeing a few wrestlers from that school.

 

Just curious is anyone else trying to do some self filming this year? This will be my first year trying it. I bought the epic cam to put on my stablizer and sony handy cam to film from the tree so i'm hoping i can get a couple videos of deer taking a dirt nap this year!!!

 

Doug best of luck to you this weekend kill a big one and get us some points! I imagine the scorecard will have several deer on it by the end of the week end.

 

Thanks my friend. I'm going to try to get us started this weekend. Just got home from glassing the fields and saw 2 shooters so its not like it couldn't happen. They planted winter wheat in front of the stand I was going to sit in front of in the morning so I have to change things around a little. Should still be fine.

Hi guys! I was just informed that I have been assigned to this team as an alternate. My name is Michael and this is my first year bowhunting. The season's been in here since August 15th but I've only been out with the shotgun so far. I actually just got a new bow tonight, so ill be sighting and tuning it tomorrow. I have some good sized does on camera so far, but only one yearling buck. I guess the good thing is that where there are does, there will be bucks eventually! I look forward to getting to know everyone during the fall!
