Well guys went to my card the other day and my camera was gone really ticks me off but my mineral Site looks to be getting worked a lot. I'm leaving in the morning for Fort Campbell for my first hunt of the season so maybe I can put some points on the board.

looks as if I will be in the fields in 2 weeks to start cutting beans so corn should be about 3-4 weeks out for us.

    Oct 1st is getting close

It was an eventful morning in the woods. Had two different does under 10 yards but neither offered a shot and they both scented me. I was covered in deer all morning. Came down about 0930 and pulled the trail cams. One stand shows plenty of does with only a few yearling bucks. There is another camera, however...

I found a fresh scrape two weeks ago and peed in it. Then I set up a camera to catch the action. I have exactly zero activity on this scrape. That is until this morning...

^^ He appears to be a big seven. He never gave me a good shot of the left beam.

^^ He is then pushed away by a bigger eight, who proceeds to annihilate the licking branch...

^^ 30 minutes later, a very nice ten comes along to investigate. He's got a smaller body but for me, he's a wall hanger. Hell, they're all wall-hangers.

It seems that the cooler weather has them in the mood to start moving a little more than they have been. I think I may have to hang a new stand somewhere nearby.

You know I have read about peeing in a scrape but I have never done it before. maybe that will be something I need to try sometime to see if I can get any results from it

Yea i've never peed in a scrape. I've honestly never even heard of that until i read it on here a couple days ago. But it seems most people have luck with it.

I never tried it either. Found two fresh scrapes on Sunday so I guess I'll give it a try. 84 and big storms for this afternoon but better weather for Friday and beyond. Can't wait to get back in the stand.

Pulling one card tomorrow. It's a new setup, so I have no idea if it will be any good. I had to set the camera low, because it's up on a ridge from the trail. There is a chance I have 1-100 pictures of deer butts.

At least you'll have an idea of what kind of meat cuts you may be able to get from the hind quarters.

I'm stuck having to work this weekend. Good news is that I'll be off most of next week and I should get to head out quite a bit. I really want to get one of my new arrows bloody and get some points on the board. Good luck to everyone heading out this weekend and stick a biggun!

Pay no attention to the time Stamp. These were taken over the last 2 Weeks. I was in a rush to get the camera out so I never set the date and time. Nothing too exciting but I see 50pts. One of my stands is about 40 yards from this camera.

I texted a few of you but I also caught a group of trespassers on the camera. They actually took my camera home with them, and brought it back the same day. I'm in the process of finding out who it is, so I'm not going to post their pictures.

Been seein a few more deer out in the fields around here. Farmers are starting to get some corn out so its definatly helping, although all my hunting land is beans this year. Was coyote hunting one evening last week and had a 140 class 8 point come walking in 40 yards out! He walked right past where my trail cam was (before it decided to take a **** on me) Didnt spook him so hopefully he decides to stick around for another meeting ;)

Well I normally have one camera and stand stolen a year so I was happy to only have 3 this year taken :)

OH WAIT, This year is worse
