nice buck rob congrats... had a pieball buck 20 yards away wide and thick main beams but all his points were only 3" high decided to pass , saturday i had one of the bucks im after come back chasing a doe at 70 yards away never came in range but the bucks are on the move ,, off work the next 3 days so ill be out in the afternoon but this week its going to be in the 70s well see what happens ,,,,, keep it up team im going to try and put something down this week for us
I got my birthday wish...and got my first buck! (Not as big as Rob's- NICE JOB!!, but I was very happy with him for my first) I will have to post up all the meaurements later tonight because I left them at home. But, here is a pic for now. I will post the story and more pics soon

great buck melissa ! congrats ,,, only saw a small six tonight but check the cam that piebold that came by me saturday i now decided i should of shot ,, he was a 11 short tines but old wide thick buck , kicking myself for not taking him now, hopefully him or one of the others give me another chance ,,i would post the pics but my laptop crashed so im using my sisters with she lets me haha

Finally got the measurements posted...sorry it took so long! I do have to admit...I am kind of bummed that I am all done But, I will be here cheering you all on! We can do this!!!
Melissa, great buck but don't cheat yourself... your missing the H4 measurement... ALL deer get 4 circumference measurements on both sides. the first around the base, the second half way between G1 and G2, third between G2 and G3 and the 4th on your buck half way from the G3 and the tip of the MB... you'll get another 3 to 4" on your score.
Anyone hunt with a decoy like this? I tried it a couple of times last year, with no luck. It seems like it is too small, but I don't have much experience with decoys. It is 33" fr the bottom of the wire legs, to the top of the back. And it is about 3' long.
