My buddy shot a 169 in buck last night , bucks are deff up and moving , he said he was chasing out a smaller buck when they both came past his stand gave him a 25 yard shot , im getting out in the stand soon as i get out of this class , good luck to anyone getting out ,
Well heading out in the morning. It's gonna PISSSSSS rain all day starting in about an hour. I guess it's worth a shot gonna sit for a bit in the morning then again in the evening. Will post updates from the stand. Good luck all.
Hopefully I will get out again next Saturday. I am taking a freind from church hunting, we pulled a muzzleloader quota hunt together. I normally wouldn't go but it has become a mission of mine to see this guy get a deer. he is almost 60 and has never shot one and has hunted most of his life. I'm hoping to help him in the morning and then go sit in my stand in the afternoon. we will have to see.

That's 163 1/8" from me boys... and girls.. and that puts into a solid second place just a doe out of first... comon TEAM... put more on the ground. :-)
