Well after no success near the Missouri Kansas border I'm heading to pike county MO to hunt 4200 acres that I have permission to there. Maybe ill at least see some deer there tonight.

Saw a doe and two fawns they went trotting by and I had a mess of turkey roost behind me. My buddy that was in a stand about 500 yards away shot a buck we nicknamed wide load. The arrow was covered in blood but the blood trail was not the best. We decided to wait til morning to go after him.

Now may be a good time to explain my name on here. Wack a doo I have a buddy from northern Wisconsin that has a bit of the northern accent. When he says doe it really sounds like he says do or dew. One year I shot 3 does to fill mine and my families freezer, and he was on our team of meat hunters. We called ourselves team wack-a-doo because we were out to wack some as he says doos and since that year I've been known as wack a doo amongst my buddies.

Opposite end of the state way up north. Three different areas I'll be in but not sure which ones off the top of my head. All bucks only though so I'll do my best but might be tough hunting. Banking on my trip to SD at the end of October to produce.
