Gonna have to sit this year out dude. You missed the sign up, AND the late signup. Plus you haven't been active enough on the forum. Hang around a while, post more than 3 times in a year, and sign up next year. Good luck this season.

Once everyone gets checked in does a new 'official' team thread get started?

This thread will become the official team 33 thread.

We need to send our team name to Fitz to change the thread title and also let him know who our captain is going to be. He may not be able to change it for a week as he just left today for his elk hunt.

I'll PM Fitz and have him change our name or the original OP can edit and change it.

No rush, we can just keep this going and wait for him to change it. In the mean time I will be following his Elk hunt, the Live from the stand thread and anything Team 33 - NOCKED-UP does from a tree
    .... good luck boys!

Season opened the 13th. Been focused on trying to put a bear down but I'll be wrapping that up here in a week or two then I will be shifting my focus to deer. One thing at a time :).

Man I would love to do one of these elk hunts, but I think I will have to retire from my teaching job first. Maybe in about 13 years?

$600 some bucks gets you an either sex elk tag over the counter. Come to Will's camp he puts on every other year. He provides the camp all you have to do is pitch in $100 for food and your set. Plus whatever it takes you drive here. But its easier than you think. Put $50 bucks in a savings account or jar every month and in 24 months you have $2,400 bucks should cover everything you need plus some.

bgusty good luck I hope you have some action

Back at it again trying a new stand location. that cold front had them moving a lot last week now it's died down again.
