Hey guys, buckbro checking in. Sorry didn't get to this sooner, was out chasing elk in Colorado for the last week with no cell service or email.

My name is bob and I mostly hunt in northeastern PA.

I can be the "stand in captain" while you are out chasing your elk. Good luck, and let us know how it went when you get back!

    Hey grizz,

Elk camp was fantastic. Elk hunting was a challenge. Actually it was my first time going after elk. Had a good crew and it was a DIY operation in unit 18 just south of RMNP. Saw a ton of moose, mules, and grouse, but was only lugging an either sex elk tag (which is a budget buster by itself).

They are just starting to bugle now and I almost wish my trip was starting this week. It rained every single day and the one day I got set up on a bedded bull I got chased off the mountain by a very intense lightning storm. That said, I can't wait for elk camp next year.

That would be much appreciated. Looks like we still have two no shows.. Think we should go ahead and ask for replacements, only three days left.

Welcome to the team Bob:) feel free to vote on the team name .

I PM'd Fitz yesterday, and he said to wait until Friday. He said we could have a few extra days to get set up since we are the newest team.

here's the part where I would be going to raise hell at the shop. The only way for a string to "go bad" and cause that would be for your cable to have literally been cut or the limb was damaged prior to the cam lean you are seeing. IMHO, they hosed you on a new set of strings. How did it look after the new string?

One thing I absolutely hate is "proshops" treating their customers like ****. Sorry you are having to deal with this.

The string is new looks good. They told me the limb would straighten itself out which it did but it didn't take long for it to snap.
They will call bear which is hard to deal with. Trust me customer support is terrible. The shop is one of the cheaper ones in the area and haven't ripped me off. They should have just got the limb in the first place but now I'll have to wait. Will never buy another bear product ever after this bow.

I'm not sure what we could do. Do we have to have/want something to do with Hunting?

I have never had anything but incredible customer service. One of the best IMHO. Again, your "shop" is taking you for a trip. A new struggle does now make a limb straigten out.

To me, it sounds like the limb was going and your shop decided to just twist the hell out of the yoke to make it straighten out. Shifty work.

Although if everyone else is sporting this kind of shag (me on left) we could go with Buck Dynasty
