Finally had some luck this morning with nice doe. I saw 2 small bucks and 5 does. Beautiful frosty morning in the woods.

He might not be wide but he looks like he's got some great mass. Good shooting on the turkey...you're dialed in for the big boy. The two bucks this morning completely ignored the does. Kind of surprising.

Nice Pics! I went to my land this weekend, which is a trip in itself, 35 minute boat ride through and over trees, and all that stuff, but I love it. Got down there, sat in my stand and heard some crashing to my right. I'm all ready, waiting for a nice buck to be chasing a doe. The last time I heard crashing like that was gun season 3 years ago, and a brute was chasing a doe without a worry in the world. Well, turns out to be tresspassers who are duck hunting. I found this out when they shot at some ducks, and scared me so bad that I thought I was going to jump out of the tree! I was pretty frustrated, but I was very nice to them, and found out they bought the land that borders ours. I may have talked my way onto accessing their 600 acres of farmland/woods! We'll see about that, but after I talked to them, I went back to my stand and sat for another 3-4 hours. Ended up seeing one doe at 40 yards. Was a wide open shot, but this is my first year bowhunting, so I don't want to shoot that far just yet. I was real encouraged by the scrapes I saw. Probably 15 of them in a real small area. I have a trail camera set up, that I will be checking in 2 weeks, maybe I'll have some good pics to show!
