I checked cams this weekend, looks like most of my bucks shed velvet on the first of september. still seeing bucks in the 140-160" range in daylight, but I'm curious to see how going into hard horn will effect the summer pattern they've been on. The does are still coming in like crazy and I should have no problem tagging one in the first few days of season. What are yall seeing on cam lately? Any good bucks patterened for early season?

Well I have a shot at a 18 point 170-180 class buck if and that's a big IF he stays on this summer pattern. I have a video on him. Pm me your phone number and I'll send it to you all.

Hey guys, sorry I havent posted any pics of my bow, or trail cam photos. The wife and I have been picking up a lot of overtime so I can take more days off during the season which starts the 17th of september. I plan on having a few days off starting sunday so I'll get some pictures posted then. I know a few of you will be in the woods sooner than I, so good luck, hunt safe, and lets rack (no pun intended) up the points!

naw, never got the video buddy, I'm excited to see it tho.

I'll be in the stand opening day september 17, then also hunting the 18, 19, and 20th. The first morning I'll be trying to whack a doe or the 160" ten I've been seeing this summer. Hopefully I can be productive that first morning becuase in the evening I'll be on stand with my wife and we're after a 135"ish chocolate horned 8 point who's been living on the south side of the farm all summer. He just went in to hard horn last saturday and seemed to still be on his summer pattern. Hopefully that will hold through the opener and she'll get a crack at him. He would be a dandy first bow buck for her.

I think the best way to do it would be go to page 5 and right click the picture then save it to your computer and from there it should work like any other picture.

Good call! I'll give that a shot when I get home. Can't do much from an iPhone and tap-a-talk app other than post replies here.
