Went out Saturday and Sunday, saw plenty of does with fawns and only 1 small 7 point. Might not be able to get back in the woods till the weekend but hopefully my bucks will start showing back up again.

Bear down boys. The four of us filled 3 tags. Sorry can't post pics. If someone wants a pm ill send it to them. It got messy put it that way. He was a nice eating besr about 200lbs. My favorite size to aim for.

So we have two weeks until ducks and 3 for tail.

Congrats on the bear, it feels good to punch a tag. Send me pic if you get a chance.

Nice looking bear! I never wanted to go on a bear hunt before, but the last couple years I started thinking about. In Maryland we do have bear, but it is a lottery to get a tag. So I might start trying for that.

I will be in the stand after work tomorrow, I got a nice little stand surrounded by some old oak trees that are dropping acorns. Looking for a buck now!

OK, I have never been one for hunting on opening weekend of bow season but I decided to give it a shot this year. Saturday is the big day! I have my thermacell ready to go and I am planning on 3 sits this weekend. Sunday afternoon is out because the Packers are playing!

Had two of the biggest bulls ive ever been on at 35 and 50 yards. No shot on the 50 yard(he came in straight behind a spruce) the 35 yard bull was an absolute monster. Long story short I thought I blew it, got mad about to come to find out my dad called him right back in while I was turned the other was sulking. Still an awesome trip. Bunch of elk, big bear, and a huge moose.

Rutin that's awesome. My daughter will be 4 in two weeks. She loves Merida(Disney princes that shoots a bow, I know Disney finally made a real female character) she carries her Merida bow everywhere. But not sure if I can get her to not be scared yet lol

My little guy helps with dog training a bunch so he's used to gunfire. He's been bugging the crap out of me to go and I had to perfect setup for him to be able to tag along. 5 mins from the house, safe field, controlled environment, and just me, him and the dog so it wasn't chaos like goose hunting can be at times.
