Hoping to have some pics this weekend gonna switch out cards and see what's roaming the woods this year had a 12 point on camera last year maybe he's still around

 

Great pics no doubt! I ran my trail camera in June for a couple weeks to get a feel of what's running around, but then I took it down just so I would leave the areas alone and not be tempted to go there so much. Stands are hung, the blind is soon to follow, feeders are up(yes I bait, sue me), and the trail camera is back in action. About one month until season!!!!

 

Happy Friday guys! Closing in on 1 month until opening day in the crappy state of Illinois...At least we have big bucks though!

 

15 days until the WI opener! Can't wait!

 

2 days left before dove season starts

 

Planted 8 plots yesterday. Rain in the forecast, should hit it perfect.

 

If our bows are as good as our cameras we might as well start our victory dance now!!! (Knock on wood, rub rabbits foot, throw salt over shoulder,....)

 

Checked one camera today, no good pictures to report

On the way home from checking the camera I randomly stopped at a garage sale and found a 1 yr old/barely used Lone Wolf climbing treestand for $100! Retails for 379.99 at Cabelas!

 

no pics on this end either however Ihad some pics from last year... hope this guy is still around

Picked up a Moultrie M-990i today. Hoping to get it out in the woods tomorrow maybe!

Well boys, nothing new to report on this end. I spent the last 4 days hanging out in Northern Michigan, enjoying a little R&R with the family before the madness of deer season begins. T-minus 11 days until Wisconsin opener. Bow is dialed in and ready to kill! I just need to dig all of my clothing out and get it washed and I'm ready to go.

 

Bear season opens tomorrow morning here in Wisconsin!

I am not sure what he will score but I dont care, he is a stud and I have a spot picked out on my wall. I have a bunch of pics of this deer since spring and am getting a game plan figured out on how to harvest him.

 

Wow you guys have a lot of great deer. I have been slow on getting ready this year in due to having my baby girl last month but I got my trail cam out there last week and will be checking at the end of the week.

 

Those are some awesome bucks guys , hope you all can score on some of them !!!

Got 11 more days till season starts here , can't wait . I still haven't got any pics from the truck cam but I know there has to be something out there , their just not quite to the field edges when I drive by , I hope . Starting to look like the only pics I will get this year will be kill shots or of the ones that I pass .

 

That's a great looking deer right there. Beautiful photo too. Definitely hoping you can put an arrow in him this year.

I'm itching to get out and check cameras this week. It's been a little while since I've checked them at my local spot and I've got a few deer I'm hoping have shown up.
