I had a torn Meniscus. I had arthroscopic surgery in June for it. Doing much better now. Just finished therapy last week and so far so good!
Took my two oldest boys out this last Saturday afternoon. It was a sloppy muddy mess. We walked a good 3 miles. I found only one half buried in the mud. Here it is as it lies.
Way to go Jason!!! I am not really sure what is going on with this contest. I messaged the guy that set it up but no response. We still have one guy missing and he isn't responding to my messages either.
Same thing is going on with our team. No responses from anyone; missing guy or guy who started the contest.
Yah, I think its early here yet. Based on the number of beds, pooo, and other sign we should have found more then we did with three pairs of eyes. We are suppose to get 6+ inches of snow again this weekend and the temp is going to drop back down to the single digits from what I have heard. I just think the are late. At the same time Cole found a load within 5 minutes and he doesn't live that far from me.... I dunno! Maybe I have lost it!
Well I guess we can give this contest another week or so then I think that someone else should take it over and get it rolling. I know lots of teams still need guys and several have already signed up for the sub list.
I was able to get in about 2 miles this morning but no luck. Hope to be back out soon if this snow that they are calling for holds off.
Just driving about 20 minutes ago I actually saw a few bucks still carrying antlers. Was real easy to see them tonight with the low snow clouds the sky was real bright and they were up moving around near the roads all over the place. We are getting dumped on with snow so probably won't be back out for awhile now. Matt how's the knee doing?
Hi all! What's happening???? Just looked at the forecast for the next 10 days. Looks like we are going to start seeing some warmer weather. 64 for the high this coming Monday "Heat wave". I am going to try to get some more for sure. Turkey season will be here before we know it!
Supposed to start warming up here in the next few days but awoke again this morning to more snow. Going to get out and do some ice fishing this weekend so hope to get back out searching again next week!
Knee is a slow go, as you know Ferg. Hoping go "drive" around some of our fields and check cameras Saturday afternoon. So what's up with a replacement??
Well hope rehab keeps going well Matt. I have no idea what's going on with this contest. We don't seem to have anyone running it anymore. Not sure if we just wait or if someone is going to run it instead. Just waiting to hear. Do we need a team captain for this too like the deer contest?
Ok it looks like we have an official scorecard now. Do we have a team captain that can post totals for us so to eliminate everyone posting and mass confusion? What are our totals so far? I think just Heckler has 1 am I missing any others?
