Nice man! I think that brings our total to 38 or 39, next highest being 24. And "LPG" sounds great to me!
Don't get put the cart ahead of the horse, b/c Pottenger and Timmy can each beat 39 by themselves, on one leg. My total isn't adding up right, b/c I'd only posted finding 5 sheds before today. I did grab another dinker that I never even bothered to post. It was so small, that it should only count as half a shed. We'll need 100 to be competitive. I represent the Lollipop Guild.
Antlerman - I threw my hat into the ring on the smallest shed, but I think we may be at a draw. LOL I think I should win, because I matched mine up!
So seriously those of you that have been around these contest before....is 133 or whatever legit? I mean like i could imagine that coming from a preserve or farm?? (totally not saying its not real, just asking)
I have never heard of anybody finding that many in one weekend, but it could be done I reckon. Seems like a lot of old ones...
We're back in the lead guys. I picked up 169 sheds today. I got into a bedding area that was really loaded. Doesn't look like it's been picked in a while.
Actually they came from a deer lease that I got for this year to hunt. If you never been hunting in West Texas you probably wouldn't believe the amount of bucks that you see each hunt. I also got a place that I bow hunt each year that I have obtained permission to hunt sheds and am going there in about a month ( I usually see 10 to 30 bucks each hunt depending on the time of the year). I hope everyone understands that I did the same as everyone else and put many miles on my feet, ( from daylight to dark for 6 days). They were almost all old sheds, I don't think anyone has been picking them up on this place. The bucks have not shed there yet except for a few. I am hoping to go back there in a month and look for this years sheds to. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask.
Well guys since we're down over 100 sheds to team 7 now, I think I've lost my interest. Don't get me wrong, I'm gonna keep looking and contributing, but I'm just saying, maybe we need a "10 run rule", lol
No kidding lol, no real chance of winning now! I have found a couple more sheds, but i can't put them up until tuesday since I have a big test tomorrow afternoon. One scores over 70" though
Found another one today, but it was so chewed up it is just half the main beam. It would have been a big shed too, if I only found it 3 years ago I will put pics up tomorrow, I need to quit procrastinating and keep studying for my test in 1 1/2 hours
