I only have seen one small buck that has shed one side so far, the rest still have both sides. They will fall though

    Last year I did pretty well, I found 20ish something sheds. Also found 3 deadheads, a 184", a 173", and a 142".

Mrantlerman checking in. I've got 4 so far, 1 real old one I found on the blood trail of my buck in Nov. (chewed up 4 pt). A great 10 pt. (both sides) and a spike I picked up on Tuesday. I'll be heading out Friday and Saturday, so I'll keep you posted.

    Sounds good Tony!

I checked 2 of my cameras today on my main hunting spot, and had 2500 pics to look though. Got some big ones that have shed already, and probably 5 or 6 decent ones still sporting antlers. I will probably give it another week or so before I start looking.

I found a skull this afternoon. I think somebody was hunting on KSU land (a no no) and never found him, since he had 2 ribs broken out of him. I think he will score somewhere around 125" or so.

Cole were you shed hunting that land? Or did he come over on some of your land and die?

He crossed the fence and died about 20 feet onto the land I hunt. The two trees behind him in the pictures are basically the property line. Last year, I found a 173" skull in that same fence. He got wrapped up in it and strangled himself, terrible way to go. I am working on getting permission to shed hunt on the KSU land though, its got some pretty good bedding areas.

I also found a shed last Wednesday, its an old one but it counts none the less. I will get a pic up when I get around to getting it off my camera.

Not yet, Tim. Right now its sitting in a bucket of water so that the meat and junk softens up enough to scrape it off. It does look a little bigger in the pictures, but its somewhere around 130" I'm thinking. I might score it tomorrow if I take a break from working on my shed.

    Nicely done englum!

Matt- I could be the captain if no one else wants to, but I have already been a captain before and I probably won't be able to keep up to date enough for our team this spring. College is really going to take up a lot of time this semester.

I'm trying to upload the picture of my shed, but my internet is SUPER slow tonight. It took me 5 minutes to load this page :throw:
