Dawg- There is no way that I am gonna shed hunt when I can still be sitting in stand and hunting live deer with bone. I am starting today because yesterday was the last day of bowhunting season Deer hunting trumps Shed hunting.
LOL I had surgery on Dec 15th and just now starting to get around in my brace. Went for a 4 wheeler ride this morning and found dead 9 pointer. Downloading pics now. I hope they count too! I am on Team 4 though! LOL Saw 5 bucks with full racks. They where from a small fork to a nice heavy monster 10 pointer. I watched them for a half hour before they spooked. The one big boy bedded down then shook his head when he stood up. I was praying for them to fall off but they did not. Here are the pics I promised a few days ago. My count total is at 8 right now. Gonna be a couple weeks (after snow melts) before I start looking hard again. The top shed I found by driving slowly by some fields and looking. It was 5 yards from the road. Easiest find yet.
I found My first set on Sunday, i nice little eight point set. I will try and get some pics up tommorrow but If you look under the Thread titled "first trip out" by Siman08/ OH you can see them.
It was a real small 2 point side. we got maybe a inch or so and now another inch tonite. I was just able to see part of the beam sticking up. Im going to try getting some pics up this weekend. All my horns have been pretty small so far though, im waiting for some nice big ones!!
I have yet to get out...but no hurry here in IL...saw a very nice buck with both sides last Thurs as I drove past our place, along with plenty other antlered sightings by buddies...that 3rd week in Feb is usually a good one for me. Keep 'em coming.

Bow/Zimmer.. you need to update your teams shed total in the post you copied your team members into. I will not be digging through 15 pages to find totals. Just edit your post in this threads 1st page where you copied and pasted your team members. Cool?
