I’ll be after it the next couple weekends with my rifle then late season with crossbow or regular compound depending on the spot. Is anyone else hunting? Things got pretty quiet.

 

Tends to happen about this time. Guys are tired, gun seasons are kicking in, getting colder, busy time of year with the holidays. Hope you all fill your tags. Good luck as the late season is upon us. Lots of big bucks killed in the late season if you've got the drive, will, and stamina to keep pursuing.

 

Good luck to anyone still getting out! My season is a wrap. I didn’t end up bringing the bow out at all over Thanksgiving. Cousins were up from Texas and wanted to hunt with us so I was out with the rifle all weekend. It turned out to be a pretty good hunting weekend, all together we took four does and all of our freezers are full. Now it’s on to getting the house finished up and ready for when the baby arrives in January

 

I’ll be getting out a little these next few weekends. Getting anxious to devote time to the target bow.

I’ll be getting back out now that. Gun season is over, maybe a lull but I haven’t seen a whole lot of moment.

Don't know how many more of those sits I'll ever have again. Brings back lots of memories.

 

I should be out Tuesday morning we are getting a bunch of rain today then turn to snow Monday 3-6 inches. I’ll either have the crossbow or compound.

 

I plan to be out next week after muzzleloader

Sorry to all for the radio silence. Gun seasons were not good to me. Traveled down to the farm every weekend of november. The final weekend all of the in-laws were playing flu and covid. Thought I made it out of those woods fine. Kid and wife got sick, peaked, and got better. Low and behold, I wake up sick on Saturday morning. Still sick. Working from home today. Once this all settles and I not sick anymore I am going to get out for some late season bow. Probably just public land. I might get a wild hair and go down to the farm one last time this year in January. December is pretty much spoken for, as it is. Good luck to all.

 

Went out West river over the weekend and did some stalking. Got on some nice deer but couldn’t get it done.
