I took care of the leaves and ended up having too much beer and fireball. Still no cam activity. I’ll get em next weekend.
My husband made it out this morning and got his buck. Im so happy for him!!!!! It was a great morning and hard earned buck for him. Another friend was there and also got his buck a non typical. And then another friend showed up with another buck taken from just down the road. I'm gonna go out in the morning. Hope everyone has some great bowhunts.
Sat from 630 this morning until 530pm my lower back is shot. Saw over 20 deer nice young 8 that didn’t meet the minimum for the property we are hunting the min is 130. Laying on the floor right now looks like more of the same tomorrow there is a warm front moving through the next couple days so I don’t know how many mid day cruisers there will be or if my back can take it.
In the blind now. Two small bucks in the field at gray light walking into thr blind. Just had a decent little 8 point come in. Out of range and didn’t want to respond to grunts. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Just had two nice bucks walk through about 20 min apart. Same trail. First was 140 class deer. The second I’m saying was 170 class if not bigger. He was clearly a 4-5 year old mature whitetail. I couldn’t catch my breath. Grunting did interest him much. Threw a wheeze at him and he turned. Probably 45 yards away but on the backside of my blind. Something spooked him and he bounded off. I swear 8 ft bounds. It was impressive. He ended up standing in front of my brother in law at 40 yards but never offered a broadside shot. Those are some awesome bucks LF!! Good luck everyone! I’ve been grinding here, between the weather and all the standing corn around, but ya been pretty slow for November. Almost had my doe last night but she pegged me while I was drawing. Sitting in a corn field tonight with the high winds we have. Starting to die down a little now but still gusting in the 30’s.
Good luck out there. It was slow on public land yesterday only saw 2 small bucks chasing does all day. Gonna rest today after helping my husband drag his buck to the truck day before yesterday and then yesterdays all day sit my butt and back are shot, my fat 60 yr old body is feeling it today. Goo gettem guys !!!!

Unfortunately that minute wasn’t on the clock tonight. All day sit. Only saw that small fork at 8 AM. Tomorrow is supposed to be 79*. I think I’m gonna stay out, refit gear, and spend some time with my wife, son, and in-laws. There is a 23* drop on Thursday. I’ll hit Thursday hard with a full tank of gas. Taking Friday off and have some East winds Saturday and Sunday. East winds always work out here for some reason. I’d really like to get a buck down this weekend, our gun seasons starts the 18th. Good luck everyone!
