Now we’re talkin! Look at those g2’s! Not as big as the buck Saturday but he won’t get a pass if I have an opportunity
I'm down. Saw a couple more but nothing close enough. The weather doesn't look the greatest these next few days I'm here but I can't change that. I'm hunting whatever the weather gives me. My last day to hunt is Saturday the 28th. So, I've got 6 whole days to get it done on a property I've never been on, never scouted but a couple hours trying to find the best spot for my 1 stand and no trail cam pics. Have no idea what quality bucks are here. Wish me luck, I'm on my own here.
Wife said she saw that tall 8 when she was leaving for work. She said he was huge. He was trying to cross the road and pointing towards the stand I hunted Sunday morning. Maybe this warm weather will keep him from going to far. He has water, food, and does. His body, to me, looks like a 3.5yo. If he makes it through this year, I’d love to see what he looks like next year.

Seeing some good activity here. At least 10 does, 4 or 5 year and half old bucks tailing the does and a taller racked 8 probably a 2.5 or 3.5 year old as well. Normally he'd get a pass but with the circumstances I'm in if I get a chance at him he'll be taking a dirt nap. I'm considering moving the stand about 40 yards to my left cause most of the activity I'm seeing is 60 yards or so to my left. The heaviest sign I'm seeing is where I'm set up at so I'm kinda thinking about staying put as well. See some deer moving my way, gotta go.
Just a couple younger bucks meandering by me. I think I'm going to stay put. Moving stands has not worked out particularly well for me over the years and I usually ended up back in the spot I started.

Good luck Shawn! I’ll be back out this weekend. Supposed to be a big drop in temps from Friday to Saturday so hoping for some great movement. Going to stick the first good sized doe that gives me a shot, if it doesn’t happen this weekend, I will be up hunting from 11/4 to 11/9 or 11/10. Have to be home at some point on the 10th for a 30 week growth scan so that will be the end of my normal archery season.
I'm hoping to make it out friday morning but I try to give my husband 1st dibs on going since where he hunts he has to kill a doe before he can take a buck and he doesnt have his doe yet and its been a few years since he has gotton a buck. Good luck to everyone.
