I just looked again. Second place is at 351 7/8”. We are currently at 319 5/8”. Lady’s doe puts us at 369 5/8”.

I haven’t looked if any other team has pending deer. Is that what Tony is referring to?

Nah, math is a strong suit for me. My career depends on it. Are there pending deer that would make it not so? I did not look at any other team deer when I made the statement.

Good luck to whomever is out today. My brother in law and I are hunting together today. Wind shifted so I’m not where that buck was yesterday. Hoping for some doe action here.

I'm getting the stand set up today. I'll be out in the stand tomorrow morning. My buddy gave me the green light on any deer that comes by. Can't wait, I'm pumped!!!!!

Shot a doe this morning, shot looked good but… found a pile of blood then couldn’t pick blood up, brought our dog Barley out. She picked up blood about 40 yards after the bed! Tracked down through a nasty ravine, blood picked up. Circled around back towards the house.

Barley was dragging my wife through all the briars and bushes but was on a mission. We bumped the doe once and called it quits for a little bit. Bumped her two more times trying just to get back to the house.

She’s only going about 25 yards each bump, so we’re going to eat some lunch and give her some time. Then, we’ll put Barley back on her

Sounds like it could have been a liver shot.

We couldn’t find any blood after the last bump which was the edge of the yard. Going back on the sxs to check some spots. Blood was watery earlier.

If she was bedding down, she's probably down somewhere, just a matter of finding her. Keep at it, good luck!

No dice. Searched my property and the neighbors. I honestly don’t know what went wrong. Pass through, shot looked good, it wasn’t a big doe. I was confident she was dead where I lost sight of her right after the shot. But after about a mile of tracking (not in a straight line) and not finding any more blood after last bump, I’m going to say she’s clotted up and will live to see another day.

I’m going to make sure my bow is shooting straight, regroup, and hit it four days next weekend.

Been up in the stand for a little while. Had some unknown deer meander by a little before light. A spike and a little 6 came through about 20 minutes ago. Saw 3 nice doe on the other trail about 60 yards away. Definitely enjoying and soaking in my time in the stand these next few days here.
