Trying to make the driveway longer, hahaha if you haven’t noticed I’m a comedian. Having my son drive for the first time, it went well until it didn’t. I did get lucky. I have 2 classics in the garage and on the side it hit I had that car in neutral, there is usually a 4 wheeler on that side also. 4 wheeler was parked elsewhere so when he hit the door the car rolled to the back of the garage and a couple tools feel off where they were hanging and put 2 chips on the trunk and cracked 1 tail light lense. **** happens nobody got hurt. I picked him up from school asked him if he wanted to drive he just smiled and said no.

It’s about that time where I start going crazy at work thinking about hunting… unfortunately with opening day falling on a Sunday I won’t be able to get out until the following weekend… this next week and a half will be spent wrapping up some things around the house. Crib and some other furniture is supposed to arrive tomorrow so I guess that will take up an afternoon this weekend. Other than that I need to change fluids in the tractor and winterize the boat. The bucks I have been watching have changed their patterns a little and are more concentrated in the woods. We have a banner crop of acorns it seems this year so my first couple of weekends will be focused around the two main oak flats we have.
We have had cool temps the past 2 weeks now on opening day its supposed to be almost 75 and warmer the week ahead. I will still be out Sunday morning for the opener, in for the 1pm football game back out for the evening hunt. I might be out Monday morning. The joys of working 2nd shift.
So much for that rain we were supposed to get! Had a heavy drizzle for about a half hour yesterday, but it didn’t go very far.
Think of all the gas you saved, I haven't mowed in about 2 weeks because my grass is to wet in the am and by time I have to leave for work its just drying out and on the weekend you guessed it, it rains. I have to get it done this Saturday because once season starts I do very little around the house.
So guys, get this. I've been hunting on the family farm for 43 years. I pretty much had the run of the place cause my cousin and myself were the only ones that ever hunted there and we hunted different sections. My relative that lives on the farm has always been a little on the liberal side and I had heard rumors once I moved she was going to shut it down. Unfortunately, even though it's a family farm it's been in agreeance the family members that live there have say so. 1 month before my trip she messages me and says no more hunting. I tried talking to her 3 different times and she wouldn't hear any of it. I have a possible couple back up spots but I'm not sure yet. Hopefully it works out but I am beyond angry.
Good luck with it, Shawn are you in Ohio? I have a place in ky if you need an alternate. Sent from my iPad using Bowhunting .com Forums
I'm not in Ohio anymore, but I've been going back there and hunting the last couple years. What part of Ky?
