Went out sheddin yesterday, spotted 4 longbeards out in my main woods. 2 looked to be just 2 y/o's, 1 3 y/o, and the other was the mack daddy double beard ive been chasing the last few seasons. He shall die this year.

    Good/Bad news here.

AL dates have changed on me. They have been moved back to April 3-6 now, seeing as when I looked up spring break dates, the webpage wasn't updated from last year. :bash: SO, that puts me two weeks LATER than I had planned to head down, AND that would mean I miss the youth hunt here where Alex Rutlidge is headin in to help guide/film some kids ( I was supposed to guide for a kid and have my buddy film, looks like I am out now). On the flip side, waiting two weeks to go to Alabama should place me in the woods with MUCH MUCH more call receptive birds...they were on lock down in mid march last year, giving them some time should greatly improve my calling odds down there, seeing as there is no hunting pressure on these farms, I am the only person to ever hunt em. Looks like KY Lake Crappie fishing that weekend in March now down in TN, cooler full of 2 lb crappie, ALMOST as enticing, LOL.

KY access just keeps getting better..I should have PLENTY of places to chase around some longbeards this spring, just need to capitalize on the new grounds now. Start scouting here in about 3 weeks.

You guys do know that turkeys have a 'wattle' and not a waddle. Right? Ducks waddle. (turkeys also have a snood and caruncles. Turkey head lingo lesson for the day.)

Just helping you guys out. ;)

I don't want all ya'll lookin silly until team 5 spanks you.

    We mean waddle.

That is the dance we're doing all the way to our victory.

It's sexy, but yet casual at the same time.

So stop being so snood, and let us get carunk!!! :deer:

Hey Dan, now that your secret is out, how do you expect to kill one of those sly turkeys this year??:busted:

Oh yeah, the secret about getting your turkeys high on METH before going hunting. I guess that isn't covered in the baiting laws in the HOOSIER STATE!!:d :whip:

That plus you won't have the whole damn HB crew to do everything in their power to get you 1 stinkin turkey. Plus conning them into staying extra days too.:violin:

Just returning the favor for Danno invading our thread with nonsense.

I don't get mine high on meth before the season!!! Makes em a little tougher to hunt when they think straight.:d

I think its that psycho kitty with an AK. Getting into our heads or not...doesn't matter.

I'm sure the Ohio State fans got into peoples' heads the last couple of years at football games, but did that stop LSU or FLA from stompin them in the finals?

5 for 5 will be tough to beat Christine, better start hopin for a double beard or something.:deer:
