I did put a second camera out about 3/4 of a mile from the other camera. This is in a spot where we had a camera two years ago. Here is a pic of current setup...the scrape is a mock scrape with no scent in it. The buck pics are from two years ago. IMG_20190901_160222508.jpeg 715093011.jpeg 375286309.jpeg 882076110.jpeg

Unfortunately, no. That's my fear, not liking it. BUT, it should be pretty easy to trade for a viper if I don't like it. The pro's for a viper really outweigh the LW, but yet I really want to try it. Still torn.

I might have fou d the best of both worlds. The summmit explorer. It's a flat folding viper. I think we have a winner!

and the winner is.......my LW hang on. I'm keeping it. I just need to slow down and practice with it more. I chose it over a climber for a reason.

    Welcome to my brain, lol!!

Well that was quite the journey there Swamp. Glad you’ve settled on a method. FWIW I have a summit Goliath and while it’s veeeery comfortable, it’s heavy as sin and a pain to drag in with its profile.

I also use a LW hang on with sticks, but last year I picked up a Hawk tree seat for hunting off the ground. That is how I killed my buck last year...10 yards quite the rush.

I've been hunting from the ground in a ghille the past few seasons due to health reasons. Took my buck in the ghille two seasons ago from 12 yards, and I agree, it was a rush!

Heading out to scout in the AM with my old man! I found a spot he was talking about that he used to hunt 20 plus years ago but could never find it again. Going to get him set up there and on a shelf/funnel.

Great morning of scouting with my dad. Put him in a good spot on the ground right where a couple trails intersect. He’s excited!!

You guys switch to unscented soap and deodorant during deer season? I'll be switching over in about 2 weeks, and won't switch back to scented until I'm done for the season.

Best two products I've found, scent killer soap is too expensive. A lot of products state unscented but they actually have a talc scent.

I don't always have a stand for certain winds or winds for a certain stand, you'll never fool a deers nose, but I'd rather not smell of irish spring and axe

No scent regiment here. I hunt totally mobile with no preset stand locations. I just sit off wind from where I expect the deer to come from.

I take a scent free shower the night before a hunt using DDW and use DDW deodorant, just to avoid the smell of my usual stuff. I am a mobile run n gunner, and only hunt areas with the wind and thermals in my favor.

Hey guys, been kinda mia ha. Work has been busy and weekend got kinda rough after a wedding reception. Gonna try and go check cams and stands this weekend. Might even dust off the bow and shoot some. Hoping to find few new spots to move few stands but idk. I've pretty much got em setup where need too or can but we'll see. Got two setup in decent spots but doesn't seem like I hunt them much for whatever reason. I'm not even sure if sat in the one once last year. But need to do something because it seems like I'm always in ine spot because there's always lot of action but also feel like I might burn it out too.

Idk maybe that's a sign I have to many stands haha.
