    Nice shooting Ash and some great looking arrows. I'm shooting the same set up as last year so no changes here. Going to shoot my hunting arrows in the next week or so to make sure I still have good fliers. Might be taking the kids out this Saturday for the youth season.

    Man it feels good to be back out in a tree tonight. It’s super warm here today, so I’m not expecting to see much, but the season is here! I’m sitting in an oak flat tonight and they have been dropping quite a bit so far, maybe something will come through for a bite. I’ll keep you all posted if anything exciting happens.

    Well no luck for me tonight. One of my boys was sitting with my dad and had a doe and fawn come through at 15 yards, but he decided to let them walk on by. Those were the only deer we saw tonight.

    Supposed to be smoking hot tomorrow. Unsure if I will hunt in the afternoon. Opening day so I may find an easy spot to get back in the groove.
