Howdy Im Phil from the great state of Georgia... pronounced "Jawja" down in these here parts. Im 63, been hunting since I was 9, Killed My first buck deer in 1968 with a Marlin turdy-turdy, A giant 7 pointer, well prob scored 55 inches gross but he was a Giant monster to me!!! I have downed many since . I own My own small farm that I hunt on In Monticello Ga {The self proclaimed "deer capitol of Georgia"} ]and Im prez of a 425 acre club a few miles down the road , I have a few decent bucks on cam on My farm and havent even put cams out at the club yet. but theres always a few good bucks roaming that land.. Also Ill be headed to Missouri for a guided hunt November 5 thru the 10th with NW Missouri outfitters . good luck Yall!! BOW HUNT OR DIE !!! and happy Birthday belated Justin!! hope it was a good one
Good luck on your Missouri hunt! MO is on my list of states to hunt and not kill a buck in. So far I've checked off WI, IA, KS, KY and NE. Just working my way down the line.
If I ever get an old bully buck or a solid three year old I want taken out - you want to come hunt IN? If so I'll keep you in mind, wouldn't be a crazy far trip for you either.

Looking forward to getting to know you all and hopefully congratulating you on your success this Fall. I will be heading to Montana on Sept 10th to elk hunt. This is a new spot that we've never hunted before but I'm looking forward to the challenge. I have some pretty decent bucks on my farm currently. I'll send pics soon.

Thanks Justin, This will be my 3 year hunting in Mo ,Love it there. Ive seen tons of bucks and let a few 130s walk waiting on the big one. only to have them show at 80 to 100 yards. Maybe this will be the year..
reminds me, I need to go back and watch that first season of True Detective again...what a great effing series.
