Raising Tines is good. I vote anyone but myself to be capt this year!

As for bucks this year I am getting a 150" on cam on the smallest property I hunt and that is it for bucks so far this year, but I am only running 2 cams. The cam I have in WI I hope to check this weekend. I really don't expect any decent bucks on that pull.

Rising tines it is? Seems everyone is in agreement.

Does anyone else hit 3D shoots during the summer and fall? We have a couple good ones coming up at the end of august beginning of September.

I would say we give him until Sunday. I will send him a PM as a reminder to check in just in case!

I hit the 3D range a couple times during the summer when the weather is cool. I also have the fortune of having no homes behind me so can shoot pretty much as far as I wish. Might try to make that open house Pearce....

I'm on leave starting tomorrow until August 30th, had a few days I needed to use up so I will be spending some time getting the Heli-m all sighted in, it's still not lined up perfectly yet. Hopefully the rain lets up this weekend so I can go to my buddy's property to check it out.

I have plenty of area to shoot distance. But I really enjoy the challenge of guessing yardage on 3D, it is great practice for the season.

Damn Team 7 stole part of what we are considering for a team name. They went with Twisted Tines. Soooooooo...how about:

    Gut Pile Gang
    Rut Busters
    Bone Heads

Finally got to the computer. I live and hunt in Southwest Arkansas. Have a fifty acre lease (about 12 miles from the house) it's nearly all hardwoods with two creeks and just got permission to hunt 60 acres about a half mile from the house. Been bow hunting since 83, started when I was stationed in Alabama. Season here starts 28 Sept and goes to 28 Feb. Six deer limit with no more than 2 being bucks. We have a three point rule in this area but I will hold out for an 8 point or better on the buck tags. Area is not known for big deer but we have lots of them. Cameras been for a couple of weeks now and will try to get them checked in the next few days. Looking forward to being on the team with all of you. Good luck.

Rising Tines works for me, and Ryan or Neal works for me as a Captain as well.

Swampstomper, I was just going to ask everyone when their seasons open in their states. So, when does everyone's seasons start?

    For me:

    Wisconsin- 9/14
    Illinois- 10/1

    Good luck everyone!

Wow! I missed this post earlier today when trying to go thru all of the pages. So, when is you devoted team invited to the property for a team hunt? Just kidding. You must be fairly tall for a 14 yr old to have a 29" draw on that Mathews! My buddy hunts Trempealeau County and has quite a few mounts on his wall. Nice area right next to the world-famous Buffalo county. I hope you have some good chances this year!

Sept. 14th - Dec 31st for Minnesota. The area I do most of my bowhunting , we have a 2- Deer limit this year, and a 4-point restriction.

Deer season for me starts oct 1st. Thru sometime in January. They keep changing the end dates.
I'll be hunting a 450 acre section of a 1300 acre lease in JoDaviess county IL.
Ill also be in Pike county for a few days and possibly my same old 25 acre piece in LaSalle county.
