Today ended our deer season here. So I spent yesterday on the ice and made this for dinner tonight [IMG][IMG]

One of my favorites, fresh Crappies. Nice fish, Mike!

My season ended this past Friday, spent the entire day out on the WMA. Found a few rubs and some fresh droppings on a food plot but never saw any deer. Sorry I wasn't able to contribute to the scorecard guys, feel pretty useless and drained after a horrible season.

I know how you feel Ryan, I didn't contribute to the scorecard either. I still had a good time with the contest, and I thought we had a pretty dang good team overall. Oh well, better luck to us next season.

I am in the same boat... bowhunting isn't easy. Next year can only get better... RIGHT?

Guys, I had a good time keeping track of our seasons together on the team. Hopefully, some of us will be matched up again in future seasons!

I will see some of you this June at the GTG. If you are unsure about going....GO! The entire weekend is a great time. If staying at a campground is not your thing I have space at my place to sleep and am only :30 away.

Hey guys, how is everyone winter and shed hunting going? I've never had good luck shed hunting, put a ton of miles on the ground in mid January with not much to show. Then we got dumped on pretty good with snow and I've been snowboarding my *** off, hopefully with a bit of it melting now and less depth I can find something.

On another note I have been looking into a new bow for this year and I got a chance to shoot the Elite Energy 32. All I have to say is what an amazing bow. It has such a nice hold, amazing back wall, light weight, the only negative thing I can say is the draw is a bit hard in the beginning. Otherwise what a great bow, I will also be looking into the creed XS and the bowtech RPM 360, but I'm really leaning towards this elite.

Hope everyone is enjoying winter as much as I am.

This upcoming bowseason probably isn't going to go so great for me. I'm getting reassigned to Ft Bragg and report there the end of September. I may be hunting on the fly with no scouting this year LOL. Looks like Bragg will be my last stop in my military service, as I'm eligible to retire in 2016!
