Crap, didn't know I could get it in Lost Camo LOL Got mine in Realtree from Bass Pro, still works for me since it saved me $20

 

I love mine! Got it last year and wore it every single time in a tree, which was a first for me.

Sigh, seeing all these entries in the Scorecard thread are getting me antsy and feeling like I'm not contributing! October 15th needs to get here, thankfully season goes until January 31st.

So looks like two counties in Alabama now go to February 10th for hunting season and Covington county is just down the road for me! Rather than being done January 31st I now have until the 10th! Nice thing considering the rut in this part doesn't even really hit until the last week of January.

 

Got out of work early so drove up to WI to hunt this cool NW wind this weekend. A little over a week until IL opens! Enjoy your weekend guys. Time to get off the phone and get a deer as I sit here in the tree.

 

Good luck to those of you hunting this weekend, have softball practice in the morning then headed out to hang the Lone Wolf on the creek crossing I found last weekend when checking the trail cam. Had fresh tracks by the creek and the opposite side of the property from the ladder stand I put up. So now I have two spots on the 8 acres, works for me!

 

Saw 3 deer about 1/4 mile away last evening. Back in stand now. Nothing yet. Dang full moon!

 

hey guys sorry to be off the grid for awile schools has been taking up to much time then running up north and hunting was a little tuff havent shot any thing yet but its coming.

Back into hunting mode now, we can't hunt Sundays in the great state of CT so I'll be at it Monday AM.

 

Did not see anything Saturday AM in the stand. Saw 2 bucks coming out of the corn when I was coming out of the woods yesterday at 9:00 AM. Biggest was about a 115" 2.5 yr old. Big body, but gonna try to hang out for a little bigger buck on this property. End of Oct-early November the big boys seem to show up every year on this property...hope this will be another one of those years!

 

Rizzo, sounds like you are good for a buck this year man! Did not hunt this AM, had some wind carry through the night. It was blowing pretty good 15mph, not going to bother hunting that as per my logs I never see deer on very windy days.

However, I will try my first afternoon hunt tomorrow. Possibly get out Wednesday AM as well.

Got a day off tomorrow. Going to put up another stand, check cam, and plots. Finally got a good shower the other day and some pretty decent chances over the next 10 days. Season opener this Saturday, hoping to put at least 50pts on the board for Team 3!
