HellRazors and trophy-tip KillZones for me. Have never used the mechanicals before so I am bringing a couple of the cut-on-contact BHs out in my quiver in case I experience a sudden onset of not being confident with the mechanicals. I've got to admit I am shooting those KillZones out to 60 like they are freakin' field points I don't see any loss of confidence with them unless I hit a deer wrong. Getting to be harder and harder to sleep at night so the season must be close! :nana:

Yup I like my Killzones too, haven't had to do any tuning with them. Neal I'm jealous, some killer bucks to include the new one! I'm rally hoping the card pull this weekend is better than last time.

I'm using the Rage 2-blade chisel tips. I do really like the looks of the Killzones though.

Have to delay my trip Saturday to check the cam and setup the ladder stand. My roommate's wife just got her ruling from the court finally to be able to move here to AL from TN. Thanks to her "wonderful example" of an ex-husband and sperm donor of their daughter, things took forever. Best part was him getting pissed off and calling Jason and threatening to kill him so now that dude's unit has issued him a no contact order! Drives me crazy, tried for 4 years when I was married to have children and this ******bag could pop one out and be a sorry excuse for a dad. Now they get to move down here and when I move to NC next year they will be renting my house!

Well Ryan, I hope your roommate and his wife can try and get back to somewhat of a normal life now. I'm guessing this must have been a custody battle ?

Thanks Neal, and we will have to keep each other updated on the rut activity. I'm on vacation from Oct. 27th thru Nov. 22nd so I think I will be able to stay on top of things. lol

Not a custody battle but what should have just been simple mediation turned into full on court proceedings. It was simply for her to be able to move out of state with their daughter. The guy had his daughter for like 80 days last year and is always trying to get back at his ex wife (Jason's wife now) and acts like a moron. Glad the court made the right decision, the guy is a complete jerk. She doesn't have any issues with their living at my house still, so now I have an extra roommate! Gotta love the military and all the moves.

Oh ok, got it. I was at Lejeune for 3 months back in 84. Brings back some fond memories of Myrtle Beach S.C. lol. I thank you for your service.

Up in TN now, left early this morning and we just finished packing a bunch of stuff, time for bed! Of course her ex was being a jerk, I was hoping he would get out of line so I could handle it so my buddy doesn't get in any trouble lol

I'll be headed to check the trail cam and hang the ladder stand either on Monday or may wait until next Saturday to give the cam two weeks and see what she picks up!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Last stand went up about an hour ago along with one last card check. Had a small 10 pt 20 yds broad side from my stand on camera about an hour before I checked along with some consistent doe activity. Time to stay out of the woods and sit tight, 9 days left!

Checked my cams yesterday. Plenty of does and small bucks. Only one shooter here in MN. I moved the cameras, so I am hoping to find out where he is traveling. Food plot stand is up and camo is in the washer. It will be a long week.

Cloths are washed, bow dialed in, bags packed and license purchased for next Saturday's WI opener. Now, hopefully the deer will cooperate. I'm praying for a NW-NE wind to hunt my BEST early season stand right off the first evening. Can't get into the spot without bumping deer in the AM. Gonna camp with tents next weekend nearby the property. Can't wait!

Well fellas looks like a couple teams have some points up already.
I can promise you that the first doe that comes out near me will be in my truck and on our board for points.
I have 22 days to go and then its game on..
We are just hoping that EHD is not spreading all over like last year.
In case some of you didn't hear Todd and I just found his #1 hit list buck dead. He was well over 180" But we couldn't really tell what took him out. I am guessing and hoping that he got clipped by a car or combine and that hurt him enough for the yotes to take him out
