Well yesterday my wife and I went to her Dr for an ultra sound.
We will be welcoming our 3rd kill girl in January.

Congrats Mike! Looks like you are going to have to make more of that jerky to feed the family going forward.

Going to shoot a 3d course right now. Enjoy the rest of the weekend guys!

Loving this Trophy Ridge React so far. Once I felt good with where I had the 20 set, shot the 30 a few times and had it dialed in and decided to test out this "smart pin technology" and launched one arrow at 50 yards, right in the paint! I've never shot past 40 before and I guess this new sight will help build some confidence to start shooting 50 and 60 a lot so that those 20-30 shots seem right in my face!

Congrats mike, hope everything goes smooth for you two.

With hunting almost upon us and fishing about to blow wide open, I will be savoring the sleep I get for the next 2 weeks and then I will be a zombie through December. Getting more excited by the day!

The 2 bucks in my profile picture were spotted yesterday! One on the left is about a 125" non typical and the one on the right is a brute around 140ish. A pleasant suprise to a trail cam check to see them both within 40yds of my stand watching us pull out of the field

sent from the room next door!

Mike, Conrats to you and your wife on the great news.
I hope everyone had a safe and happy Labor Day weekend. I'm watching the hunting shows I DVR'd over the weekend and getting more and more pumped for the season to start, 11- more days.
Ryan glad you like your new site, and it sounds like you pretty much have it dialed in, and mads10bass hell yeah, that will get a guy pumped up.

Well guys, i'm back! I was out for the last week or so - no luck in Wyoming! :(. Saw plenty of them nothing close enough (within 80-100 yards). I had once chance on a decent buck at 40 - he was walking and I missed shot way behind him!

Anyways - good news; I got another pic of ears... He's a giant, I can't believe it's him but it definitely is. He's gotta be 6 or 7 or more??

Hope everything is going well guys, enjoy the next few days (weeks)... It's the BEST time of year. high hopes and limitless possibilities!

We just got our food plot in as well. We are 100% noobs, having never done a food plot before. We put in a rye, rape and clover mix. We got plenty of rain since they went in, lets pray for something green to come up...haha.

Neal, I have always wanted to see a drop tine let alone shoot one, good luck on him, what an amazing deer.

I just looked at the calender and in CT we can not hunt on Sunday, therefore my season starts Monday the 16th. Lucky for me I am able to hunt during the week when no one else is out. 13 days left!

I hunt near La Crescent, MN my wife's hometown.
I also hunt in Pepin, WI - I drive right through Red Wing when I head there.

Are you on private land in Redwing?

Broadheads are flying perfect, bow is dialed in, food plot in, plenty of deer on camera during daylight, acorns are dropping and one last stand to set up. I am getting really antsy.

What kind of broadheads does everyone shoot? I've shoot slick trick 1 1/8 100g, always fly true and never had a problem. Woods is a bit to thick by me for expandables.
