Question for you guys about a deer. That buck I got the video of, does he show any resemblance to the buck I got on cam last year?

The noticeable characteristics I see is that his right beam is taller in both the video and stills, secondly the antlers seems to be in the same proportions, very small brows on each deer, lastly the deer video and picture were taken about 500yds or so from one another. Also if you pause the video at 11 seconds, the buck is standing in the same stance as in the first trail cam pic and they look very similar.

This is only my second year running cams and I have no experience watching a deer grow before, any help would be appreciated.

If it is the same buck he definitely grew some longer tines this year! Here is a buck that I have on my hit list. Pulled the cam the next day and will not go back until I hunt it. He was on the cam nearly every day for a month. Hopefully, he holds that pattern for another 5 weeks.

Very nice Rizzo deer. From what I have gathered the deer around me tend to hold their "summer pattern" until late sept.

Man you guys have some great bucks on cam! Puts these little Alabama bucks to shame. I'm headed out this Saturday to do a card pull since it's supposed to rain again, will be just over a week since I hung it but figure with the rain it will be a good time to pull it. Bringing my laptop so I can get all the pics then stick the card back in the cam.

Getting those bucks on camera is one thing, getting them to cooperate for a shot opportunity during legal shooting hours is another thing! Them ol' boys are quite nocturnal around my area due to all of the hunting pressure. Welcome Mads10bass

Hey guys , here are a couple of pic's from last weeks check. Kind of disappointed with the number of big buck pic's I got this time. The buck in the last pic looks to be a pretty decent one though. Oh well it only takes one right ? lol
