Can't ever remember getting such a high dbl lung shot. Blood spray by arrow. No other blood until I found the buck 120yds away.

 

Lungs had to fill up before spray would flow out.

Had that happen on a doe yrs ago. Yotes found her before I did the next day afternoon. Shot her in am.

 

Thank goodness I heard him crash.

Come on Team 3. We are in the thick of it.

Closer and closer. We should have a good rest of the month at least!

I have another buck and doe tag. I will be buck hunting again Thurs. Interview went pretty well. Said they had a lot of candidates. Hoping to get to round 2.

8-12 inches of snow.

weather man was incorrect again not much snow here but now the storm has been pushed back another day. we shall see, i have no faith in them

 

Use that snow to figure out how they move

 

High of 50 tomorrow. Hope to be out of work at a decent time to get in a hunt. Found a good spot today during lunch

I'm done for now. I have a head ache, I get these every once in a while. Due to a lack of sleep. I Have to plow the driveway. 6-8 inches of snow and a good nap.

Tomorrow is the last day off 1 st archery season. 2 nd archery / flinklock season starts 12/26/22. Rifle season starts 11/26/22. I usually take the bow for the first day or two of rifle season then is gun season.
